It’s June already and our attention had turned to 2027 for bookings – a Holy Year on the Camino. It’s time to be planning for this; the demand for rooms and beds will far outstrip availability. Already, we are getting ‘booked out’ replies from many hotels for dates as far as October 2027 – so the message is clear: if you want to book for 2027, you need to consider doing so now.

The Camino de Santiago has never been as popular (over half a million people got certs in 2025 – an all-time record); it’s becoming more important by the year to book as far in advance as you can.

At Camino Groups, we work on group trips (any booking of 4 or more people); that includes schools, private bookings and also our wide range of group tours where anyone can join in. 2026 sees around 20 group trips taking place; we are now working on plans for 2027.
